What a Noise!

On Friday evening Daddy told Sam and Marley they couldn’t have their fast food treat and…

oh… what a noise!

On Saturday morning Sam couldn’t go to swimming and…

oh… what a noise!

On Sunday morning Marley learned that there was no football practice on and…

oh… what a noise!

On Monday at breakfast the children found their school was closed and…

oh… what a noise!

On Tuesday afternoon Mummy tried to understand Sam’s maths and…

oh… what a noise!

On Wednesday just before lunch Marley asked Daddy for another snack and…

oh… what a noise!

On Thursday everyone went out of the front door at bedtime and…

oh… what a noise!

After they all came inside, mum asked “Who do we need to thank?” and…

Oh what a noise!

  1. After so many months of being home all the time it is easy to forget why we are doing this. Thanks for the reminder of why we need to be ok with the noise in the home, and who we can thank.

      1. Yes, in our home as well. There are times the noise gets to me, so I escape by putting on my headphones and hiding in my room. Such strange times we are all living through!

  2. Loved that! I think, ‘Oh, what a noise!’ sums up our house – and many more – perfectly. In our house we have a favourite – ‘Mum gets a Skype call from Uncle Richard… and oh what a noise!’
They’re usually extra short calls as a result!

  3. So nice to see the kids showing their appreciation for everyone working so hard during this horrible time! I completely agree I hope in years to come we remember the kindness and appreciate that people showed above anything else. xx

  4. I love that picture and it has certainly made a talking point in our house. I hope this is what people and especially the children remember. Supporting our keyworkers and bring grateful for the work they do. x

    1. Lizzie did a wonderful job didn’t she. So much better than anything I’d be able to create.
I agree, I hope we remember the appreciation more than the inconveniences.
