Feeling weepy

I’m feeling weepy at the moment.

Hormones.

Anniversaries.

Seems like so much is going on, even though it’s no more than usual.

May be I’m wearing myself out with RED January.

Could do with a bit of a boost of cheer and energy, that isn’t chocolate-based.

That’s all I’ve got today.

  1. Sometimes we get like this. Definitely reach out to someone if it persists. I think the state of our world right takes a toll on our mental state as we are going through living our lives with additional stressors. I hope it gets better for you soon.

  2. I know the feeling 😊. However I have good reason – went and broke my foot Sunday stepping into a well camouflaged hole in the ground! Struggling with crutches as I have no upper body strength and have always had appalling balance! Feeling better yet? 🤣

    1. I broke my foot almost 2 years ago and had the same problem with crutches. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t get the hang of it. Have you thought about getting a knee scooter? Not sure if that’s the proper name for it but that thing really helped me get around.

      1. Hi! Glad I’m not the only one with a crutches problem!! 🤣 Never heard of a knee scooter – nor seen anything that looks like that sounds. But we managed to borrow one of those Zimmer frame walkers, which definitely help with the balance issue, but still a huge strain on the muscles of the good leg, and the arm muscles! Now day three and my arms and good leg feel like they’ve been pummeled with a meat hammer!! So instead of getting easier it’s, at the moment, getting harder. If I could just get the broken foot to the point where I can put a little weight on it. Sigh.
