It’s my birthday! To celebrate I’ve had an awful night’s sleep, sniffly and being bitten and then cold. Then we’re moving campsites so it’s all about packing, a long drive and then unpacking. There will be gin later.After 4 hrs on the road with an emergency hedge-based toilet stop and a driver change we stopped for lunch. Just a simple aire with no restaurant and stuff, we came prepared to picnic and these little ones tend to be less busy, especially at lunch time.
Onwards then to Pomport Beach campsite, looking forward to a longer stay and a small site with a lake.A couple more hours and we arrived. 30°C and so glad of the air con. Wi-Fi pretty useless so I’m not sure how I’m going to publish this.
Update: Wi-Fi is behaving better, I’ve managed to add a photo. The boys have been to the pool (yet more injuries, large belly flopped and is complaining of tummy ache, he’s also scraped an ankle) and himself has gone to fetch pizza for tea. I have a “pomport” – I’ve christened my gin/pink wine/lemonade cocktail.
